Winter Workout Tips

 It is very difficult to come out from our comfort zone and go for workout during winter season especially in December to feb month and this is the time when physical activity efforts got dip. No one wants to run, jog or do any exercise  when the temperature is very low (cold weather and lack of sunlight).

Here are few cold weather fitness tips:

Retch your muscles on bed so you brain and body get messages to prepare for work out and start your day with warm water,  tea or coffee.

If you are too lazy to go out for workout, then you can do some exercise at home with the help of few accessories like  mat, chair for squats , leg climbers, rope jumping and can use wall for squats. Use online exercise app or video which can help you be in shape in fun way at home. Yoga is one of the best indoor workout, it aids in weight loss and improve overall health.

It is very important to focus on healthy diet and keep yourself well nourished.You can have soups, green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, pomegranates, nuts etc.

Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.By drinking 2-3 litres of water everyday will prevent you from skin irritations and dehydration.

Take stairs and do some house work activities like sweeping, mopping, washing etc. which helps you stay active while you keep your home looking good.

Check temperature before going out and dressed in layers. You can also buy new workout clothes feel good and to keep you motivated towards workout.

Find a partner, friend or a family member who can join with you for workout sessions.It makes the activity more enjoyable  and you can share your goals and plans with the partner to keep you motivated and on track.

Set short term and long term workout goals and keep tracking the progress, you can also write your main goals and paste it on the wall or in front of you for regular progress.Your goals should be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound).

Try something new and different that you have never tried.Trying new activities will keep you happy and fit.
