Garlic with Lemon Juice - Another effective remedy for treating mountain sickness is using garlic and lemon juice together. Crush 2-3 cloves of garlic well in a glass of water and add few drops of lemon juice. Strain this mixture and consume it in case of any uneasiness in the stomach.
