SUMMER DELIGHT-INTERESTING MANGO RECIPES

  Summer brings along irritating hot and humid weather but also gives us joy. One of them is mango. As wise people once said mango is the gift of summer. Apart from the delicious nectar taste, it is also packed with the wellness of health. We can make different recipes from mango to enjoy the goodness of fruit, like:

Mango Chaat

It is a very quick recipe and interesting thing is that it can be made with both raw or ripe mangoes. Chop a few mango slices and add some chopped cucumber, onion, green chillies to it. You can also add a little bit of finely chopped coriander to enhance the flavour.   

Mango Smoothie

Blend mango pulp with 1/2 cup of low fat thick yoghurt. Add soaked chia or basil seeds to increase the fibre content. If desired you can also add a little bit of organic honey to enhance the sweetness.

Mango Lassi

With a thin consistency probiotic curd blend 1/2 a cup of mango pulp. You can add organic honey to enhance the sweet taste.

Mango Shake

This is a refreshing mango recipe with the goodness of milk. Blend mango pulp with 1 cup of skimmed or toned milk. To enhance the flavour you also can add few mint leaves.

Mango Custard

This is a filling recipe of mango for the hot weather. It can be taken as a dessert or as a healthy snack during a long gap. It can be easily made with condensed milk, custard powder and some mango pulp. 

Mango Juice

It is the easiest recipe and should be taken as a chilled drink. For this we need only some mango pulp and fresh water. Organic honey can be used to enhance its sweetness.

Mango Iced Tea

This is a cool and refreshing drink. It requires one or two green tea bags, water, mango, ice cubes and sugar or organic honey according to your taste. Blend the mango with water and separately dip the green tea bags in cold water for about 5 minutes. Then mix both the mixtures and add sugar or honey according to taste. Serve it with ice cubes.

Aam Panna

You can beat the summer with this deliciously refreshing drink. To make this you will need 2-3 raw mangoes, sugar, roasted cumin powder, black salt, water, mint leaves and ice. Roast raw mango in medium flame then peel it and make a past. After that, you just need to mix all the ingredient and serve it chilled.

Mango Shikanji

You can make this drink in no time. Just mix mango puree with water, lemon juice, chaat masala, black salt and cumin powder and enjoy the refreshing drink.

Mango Ice Crunch

It is a super easy to make recipe. Just blend coconut milk or almond milk with some peeled mango. Pour the mixture into ice block moulds and free it overnight. You can also add some mango chunks or any other fruit that you like.

Mango Achaar

This is an ancient recipe of our ancestors. Every family has their secret recipe to giving it a grand unique taste and flavour. It is made of raw mango and takes a long time to prepare, but it can be stored easily and enjoyed all over the year.

Mango Chutney

This is another recipe made from raw mangoes. You just need a few raw mango slices, sugar, fennel or mustard seeds, water and salt according to taste.
