A sore throat refers to pain or irritation of the throat. Throat pain is the primary symptom and one has difficulty swallowing food or liquid. It can be caused by viral infections or fever and can be accompanied by a cold.

Peppermint oil spray may help relieve sore throat and helps calm sore throat and cough. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties which may help with the condition.
6.Fenugreek Tea
It has properties to relieve pain and reduce irritation and inflammation. Just need to boil half a tbs of seeds in water and have it empty stomach for best results.
7. Garlic
It contains cllici, which as antibacterial properties and ability to fight off infections. Simply chew or suck on a clove of crushed garlic to soothe a sore throat.
8. Better Hydration
It is advisable to drink hot herbal drinks and include clear soups like vegetable and chicken soups which can help get rid of the mucus and provide relief.
Thus, there are many home remedies as discussed above which can help you deal with a sore throat which may happen occasionally. However, be cautious if your sore throat lasts for more than a week or seems to be very painful, as you might need medical advice.
